Y-NETS: Empowering the Next Generation of NET Specialists
ENETS is launching Y-NETS, a new initiative dedicated to supporting early-career clinicians and researchers in neuroendocrine tumours. Y-NETS will provide education, collaboration opportunities, and leadership development for members under 40. About Y-NETS
Y-NETS is a new ENETS initiative designed to support and connect early-career NET specialists across Europe and beyond. It aims to provide young clinicians and researchers with opportunities to develop skills, expand knowledge, and engage actively in scientific and educational activities relevant to their daily practice and research.
Y-NETS will serve as a platform for collaboration, networking, and the development of Europe’s future NET leaders. Activities will focus on education, scientific programmes, research collaboration, and offering a young perspective on emerging priorities in NET care.
Objectives
Y-NETS will:
- Develop and deliver educational and scientific activities for young NET specialists
- Integrate early-career perspectives into ENETS projects and strategy
- Promote research collaboration and career development
- Build a global network of young NET professionals
- Support the next generation of leaders in clinical practice and NET research
