ENETS-endorsed Publications

This section features publications that have received formal endorsement by ENETS. Endorsement indicates that the work aligns with ENETS standards and is considered relevant to the neuroendocrine neoplasia (NEN) community, while remaining the responsibility of the respective authors.

ENETS distinguishes between supported and endorsed trials.
Supported projects receive active support from ENETS (which may include financial involvement e.g. through grants, or organisational involvement), whereas endorsed projects are recognised for their scientific relevance and alignment with ENETS priorities without financial support.

The publications below present a selection of outputs arising from projects supported or endorsed by ENETS.

NENs Policy Recommendations

Inequalities in neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN) care across Europe

This publication was developed by a group of high-level experts in the field which updates initial recommendations presented in 2015 at the
European Parliament and endorsed by a group of MEPs. The main aim of the document is to provide a basis to tackle the need to improve diagnosis and treatment, training and infrastructure as well as referral pathways in Europe in the field of NENs.

At the 2024 ENETS Annual Conference, a roundtable discussion brought together physicians, patients and EU policymakers to address key barriers to high-quality NEN care across Europe, aligned with the 2023 ENETS-endorsed publication.
