Participation
This page provides an overview of who can participate in the ENETS NET Database, the applicable participation rules, and practical information on how to join and receive support.
Eligible centres
Participation in the ENETS NET Database is open to specialised neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN) referral centres that meet defined eligibility criteria.
Centres within the European framework
The following categories of expert centres are eligible to participate:
- ENETS Centers of Excellence (CoEs)
NEN referral centres certified by ENETS as Centers of Excellence. - ERN EURACAN-accredited NEN referral centres
- Centres accredited or recognised as expert NEN centres by national authorities
Institutions that are not part of the ENETS Center of Excellence network, not ERN EURACAN-accredited, and not nationally accredited or recognised may apply via an individual approval process.
Such centres are required to
- complete the ENETS DB eligibility checklist and
- submit their application to the ENETS Database Team for review and coordination, with final approval by the ENETS DB Core Group.
The checklist can be downloaded below.

Centres outside the European framework
The ENETS Database is also open to selected NEN referral centres outside the European framework.
Participation is limited to ENETS-approved database studies and requires:
- invitation by the respective Principal Investigator (PI)
- approval by the ENETS DB Core Group
- compliance with specific eligibility and governance requirements (see below)
Clarification
For the purposes of ENETS Database participation, classification is not based strictly on geography. In cases where classification is not clear-cut, the ENETS DB Core Group will determine whether a centre is considered part of the European framework, based on its level of integration into recognised European clinical and scientific structures.
