Call for Study Proposals
ENETS invites investigators from participating European centres to submit study proposals using the ENETS NET Database.
We welcome collaborative research that addresses clinically relevant and scientific questions in neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) and generates high-quality evidence.
Study types
Proposals may be submitted for:
Authorship and publication principles
Studies using the ENETS NET Database follow transparent and fair authorship and publication principles:
- Authorship is based on meaningful scientific contribution, including data provision and study involvement.
- Publication models are defined for each study and communicated in advance.
- ENETS publication rules apply to all participating centres.

Who can submit a proposal?
Principal Investigators (PIs) must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be an ENETS member.
- Be affiliated with a participating centre within the European framework under a valid ENETS Database Collaboration Agreement.
- Hold active user access to the ENETS NET Database.
Preparing your proposal
Please submit the following documents:
- The completed Study Protocol Template (fillable Word document – please download and complete the template provided)
- Confirmation of ethical approval to conduct the study.
- Any supporting documentation, where applicable.

Submission and review
Email your completed proposal, including all required documents, to the ENETS Database Team at database@enets.org.
All proposals are reviewed by the ENETS DB Core Group. Applicants are notified of the outcome following review.
