Alejandro Garcia Alvarez

Medical oncologist at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, specialized in neuroendocrine and endocrine malignancies. My clinical and research focus is on neuroendocrine neoplasms, with active involvement as subinvestigator in over 50 phase I–III clinical trials, including targeted therapies and PRRT. I hold a Master’s in Molecular Oncology and have developed investigator-initiated trials, including an ongoing phase II study in thyroid cancer. I have been awarded a GETNE Junior Grant supporting translational research on ADC targets in NETs, leading to the development of the EVNEC trial.
