Introduction: Immune checkpoint inhibition (ICI) has activity in Grade 3 (G3) neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) but predictive biomarkers of overall survival (OS) are currently lacking.

#3523 NICENEC phase 2 trial of nivolumab and platinum-doublet chemotherapy in untreated advanced G3 Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NENs) of gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) or unknown (UK) origin: Efficacy by differentiation, KI67 index and primary tumor site

Introduction: G3 NENs are aggressive tumors with limited treatment options. Prognosis is rather poor even with best available platinum-based CT (OS of 11m).

Introduction: Neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC) have a poor prognosis and there is no standard second-line treatment. Two studies, DART SWOG 1609 and CA209-538, have shown activity of the combination of Ipilimumab and Nivolumab.
