177Lu-dotatate as salvage therapy in bronchial and GEP NET patients: The IRST "Dino Amadori" experience
#4042
Introduction: RLT with SSA represents a treatment of choice after progression from “cold” SSA analogues in NENs. After progression from RLT, other systemic treatments are used including a salvage therapy with RLT that is increasingly proposed.
Aim(s): The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and the outcome of RLT, as salvage treatment in GEP and Bronchial-NETs.
Materials and methods: Well-differentiated Bronchial and GEP NET pts already treated with RLT, had received 3.7 GBq of 177Lu-TATE for 5 cycles. Diagnostic OctreoScan and/or PET/CT 68Ga-peptide images had demonstrated a significant uptake in the tumor. All pts had an adequate haematological, liver and renal function and gave their written informed consent.
