8-year follow-up reveals therapeutic approaches for patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms – Findings from the TNE West Network: 2016-2023

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are relatively rare and often diagnosed late, typically occurring between the ages of 40 and 60. They primarily manifest in the gastrointestinal system, pancreas, bronchi, lungs, thymus, and thyroid.

Aim(s): The primary objective of our study is to analyze the therapeutic, epidemiological, and prognostic characteristics of NETs within our department.

Materials and methods: We conducted a retrospective study within the TNE West Network, involving 287 cases experienced between 2015 to 2023.
