A Comparative Analysis of Ki67 Index of the High Grade Neuroendocrine Neoplasms Arising in the Gastrointestinal Tract and the Pancreas
#1286
Introduction: A common classification has been used for NET in gastrointestinal tract (GI-NET) and pancreas (P-NET), but heterogeneity has been reported in high grade tumors; well-differentiated G3 (WDG3), poorly differentiated NEC (NEC), and mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma (MANEC).
Aim(s): The morphological varieties of the high grade tumors among organs are further to be studied.
Materials and methods: We reviewed morphology and Ki67 index of 230 GEP-NET; 86 (39%) GI-NET and 134 (61%) P-NET cases.
