A Comparison of 68Ga-DOTA-TATE and 18F-FDG PET/CT Imaging on Patients with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasm (pNEN)

Introduction: 68Ga-DOTA-TATE and 18F-FDG PET/CT are widely used for staging patients with pNEN.The sensitivity of nuclear modalities with pathologic correlation is unknown.

Aim(s): To evaluate the efficacy of both DOTATATE and FDG PET imaging on patients with pNEN.

Materials and methods: From June 2012 to April 2016,17 patients with histologically-confirmed pNEN who both performed nuclear imaging were identified. The interval between the two imaging was less than 2 weeks.
