A patient derived organoid model of neuroendocrine neoplasms enables long-term growth in vitro of low grade tumors and reveals therapeutic vulnerabilities
#3280
Introduction: A paucity of in vitro and in vivo models has limited the study of neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs).
Aim(s): To generate preclinical in vitro models of NENs that can be propagated long-term.
Materials and methods: Building on methods developed in our lab, we have generated patient derived tumor organoids (PDTOs) from low- and high-grade NENs.
