A rare presentation of duodenal neuroendocrine carcinoma

Introduction: Duodenal neuroendocrine neoplasms(dNEN) represent 2-3% of all gastro-intestinal NEN.Unlike other midgut NEN,they are usually diagnosed in a localized stage.
Aim(s): We present a rare case of dNEN diagnosed several months after the diagnosis of liver metastases of unknown primary.
Materials and methods: A 34-year-old patient without history presented right upper quadrant pain, nausea, anorexia and had lost 10 kg in three-month time period.
