A strange biodistribution of 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT in a NET patient – Do you have some advice?
#3708
Introduction: We report the case of an abnormal distribution of Ga-68-DOTATOC PET/CT in a NET patient.
Aim(s): To discuss a possible explanation.
Materials and methods: A 60-year-old man with a metastatic neuroendocrine tumor (NET G2) of the ileum, treated with surgery in 2007 and with SSA since 2016, was referred for 68Ga-DOTATOC (SomaKit®) PET/CT. On May 2022, 68Ga-DOTATOC (215 MBq) was administered intravenously as a bolus, and images were acquired 1 hour later from vertex to proximal thighs with a PET/CT DMI DR GE.
