ALK-targeted therapy in atypical carcinoid of the lung: A case report

#4135

Introduction: Atypical pulmonary carcinoids with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) rearrangement are extremely rare. The effectiveness of ALK-targeted therapy in such individuals remains unclear. This article reports a patient diagnosed with ALK-positive metastatic atypical carcinoid (AC) of the lung, who achieved tumor remission following first-line treatment with alectinib.
