Asymptomatic bradycardia in patients with NET undergoing SSA treatment
#3407
Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors of the gastrointestinal tract are rare tumors representing a heterogeneous group of tumors. Somatostatin analogues are commonly used in treatment of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. We focused on potential side effects of SSA.
Aim(s): The aim of the study was to determine potential side effects of SSA in patients with NET.
Materials and methods: The set consisted of patients undergoing treatment with somatostatin analogues in an outpatient form. We evaluated data about disease duration and type of SSA preparation. Every patient underwent ECG examination in rest.
