Introduction: As patient advocates and advocacy groups emerge as pivotal players in promoting access to healthcare, we explore their role in promoting radionuclide therapy in NETs.
Aim(s): Discussing challenges in access to Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) in developing countries and sharing insights from eight years of patient advocacy.
Materials and methods: This is a subjective analysis of availability and access to treatment for neuroendocrine tumours in the Indian subcontinent over 8 years and experience as a physician-advocate engaged with a neuroendocrine tumour support organisation.
