Characteristics of gastric neuroendocrine tumors type 1
#4233
Introduction: Gastric neuroendocrine tumors type 1 (gNET 1) are the most prevalent among other gNET. These neoplasms demonstrate low growth rate and low malignant potential. Recent publications describe polymorphism of gNET 1, which may indicate a various course of the disease.
Aim(s): Analysis of endoscopic and laboratory polymorphism of gNET 1.
Materials and methods: The research included 185 patients with gNET 1 observed from 1 to 13 years. Diagnostically important data were analysed: size, number, location and grade of tumors; level of main NET markers. The correlation between chronic autoimmune atrophic gastritis and gNET 1 was studied by evaluation of anti-parietal cell antibodies level.
