Introduction: Data on metastatic lung carcinoid tumors are limited.
Aim(s): The study aimed to describe characterization and prognostic factors of metastatic carcinoid lung tumors (CLT).
Materials and methods: All consecutive patients with a metastatic (synchronous or metachronous) CLT referred to two tertiary centers between January 1999 and January 2013 were included in this retrospective study.
