Children with Primary Hyperparathyroidism After Parathyroidectomy

Introduction: Surgical treatment is the radical and most effective treatment for primary hyperparathyroidism (PHP). According to a number of studies, it has been shown that parathyroidectomy leads to an improvement in the quality of life in patients.
Aim(s): To carry out a comparative analysis of the quality of life of patients with PHP in the late postoperative period, depending on the type of forms of PHP.
Materials and methods: Surveyed 60 children with PHP. According to the forms of PHP, the patients were divided into groups: 1. Bone form-in 20 cases. 2. Visceral-in 20. 3. Mixed-in 20. All respondents were interviewed using a short quality of life questionnaire (SF-36) in the late postoperative period.
