Clinical and pathological characteristics of 77 cases of extra adrenal paraganglioma

Introduction: Paraganglioma is also called extradrenal paraganglioma. The incidence has not been reported and it’s easy to be ignored. Starting from the clinical manifestations of patients, improving the examination, early identification and treatment are conducive to improving the prognosis of patients.

Aim(s): The clinical and pathological features of 77 cases of extraadrenal paraganglioma were analyzed, which is helpful for early diagnosis and treatment.

Materials and methods: A total of 77 cases of extradrenal paraganglioma from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from June 2015 to December 2022 were collected and their clinical manifestations and pathological findings were retrospectively analyzed.
