Clinical Characteristics and Survival of Neuroendocrine Tumors of Unknown Primary

#684

Introduction: NETs of unknown primary account for 10-15% of NETs. There is limited published literature on this group of NETs.

Aim(s): We performed a retrospective analysis of patients with NET of unknown primary managed at a single centre over a 20-year period (1990-2010).

Materials and methods: Patients were identified from the NET database at Kings College Hospital. Patients referred as unknown primary were excluded if the primary site was later identified.
