Clinical epidemiology study of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (P-NENs) in different areas of China: A national multi-center 10-year retrospective study

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm (P-NENs) is a type of endocrine tumors in the upper gastrointestinal tract, with the incidence of which is increasing in recent years.

Aim(s): The aim of this study was to illustrate the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (P-NENs) in different regions of China.

Materials and methods: This study was a hospital-based retrospective study. Patients’ general information, clinical features and treatment information were collected by clinicians using standard case report form, then we analysed patient characteristics' variation in different regions.
