Clinical response to somatostatin analogues in patients with DIPNECH: Findings from a new longitudinal registry
#4652
Introduction: Diffuse idiopathic pulmonary neuroendocrine cell hyperplasia (DIPNECH) often presents with symptoms of cough and dyspnoea. DIPNECH remains understudied, and response to somatostatin analogues (SSAs) has been reported in a few small series.
Aim(s): Response to SSA treatment in patients with DIPNECH remains poorly understood. This registry aims to provide real-world epidemiological and clinical evidence for SSA treatment in patients with DIPNECH.
Materials and methods: After IRB approval, adult patients with DIPNECH were identified. Demographics, symptoms, pathology, radiographic characteristics, treatments, and outcomes were collected. Data analysis was conducted using R.
