Clinicopathological characteristics are capable of predicting long-term outcome of gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumours in Germany

#363

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumours (NET) are a rare and heterogeneous group of neoplasm. Throughout the last decades the classification of NET has been both difficult and incoherent. Therefore making prognostic straticifation often difficult.

Aim(s): Analysis of prognostic factors in a large cohort from a nationwide survey of the German registry for gastrointestinal NET (G-NET-Reg).

Materials and methods: Collection of solely data from histologically proven NET-patients (pts.) diagnosed since 1999 from 32 centres throughout Germany and Analysis of epidemiological, histopathological and clinical data as well as information on overall and NET-specific outcome.
