Introduction: Insulinoma is a multifaceted disease posing several challenges in terms of clinical presentation, diagnostic work-up and surgical management.

Aim(s): Aim of this study was to describe diagnostic work-up, surgical management and postoperative outcomes of patients with insulinoma.

Materials and methods: All consecutive patients who underwent surgery for insulinoma at San Raffaele Hospital (Milan, Italy) between 2008 and 2022 were included.
