Effects of transplantation related immunosuppression on co-existent neuroendocrine tumors
#3330
Introduction: Here we detail our experience of managing patients found with NETs whilst on immunosuppression for a transplanted organ or receiving an organ from a donor with a NET.
Aim(s): To determine biological behaviour under immunosuppression.
Materials and methods: 11 patients were identified from a prospectively kept database. 3 were excluded: 1 - NET not confirmed; 1 - random gastric biopsies showing some nests of NET cells; 1 - liver transplantation for pancreatic NET liver metastases was excluded as a historical case without data.
