Enucleation of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms – Short- and long-term results in open surgery in a single center

#3694

Introduction: Surgery plays a key role in the treatment of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET). Enucleation combine a radical resection with sparing of healthy pancreatic parenchyma.

Aim(s): Evaluation of long-term results of enucleation in open surgery.

Materials and methods: Clinical records of patients who underwent enucleation in open surgery for pNET (1979 – 2021) were retrieved retrospectively. We evaluated clinical-pathological features, post-operative outcome and follow-up to December 2021.
