Epidemiological characteristics and prognosis analysis of gastric cancer (GC) with neuroendocrine differentiation (NED)
#4509
Introduction: GC with NED exhibits distinct biological characteristics, yet research on its clinical features and prognosis remains limited.
Aim(s): To explore the clinical features, survival outcomes, and prognostic indicators of GC with NED, with a goal to inform optimisation of diagnostic and treatment strategies.
Materials and methods: In a retrospective study, GC patients (pts) at stages I-III were evaluated after radical surgery and included IHC staining (Syn, CgA, CD56) on postsurgical tissue. NED-positive status was based on any positive marker. Demographics, disease features and survival differences were compared between NED-positive and -negative groups.
