Exploring the expression of DLL3 in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine carcinomas and its potential diagnostic value

Introduction: The targeted treatment of DLL3 has attracted attention because of improving the prognosis of small cell lung cancer (SCLC), but the related research on DLL3 in GEP-NEC is relatively rare.

Aim(s): To exploring the expression of DLL3 in GEP-NECs.

Materials and methods: Data and specimens from 211 GEP-NECs, 18 cases of digestive system neuroendocrine tumors (NET) and 9 cases of gastric adenocarcinomas were retrospectively collected. Immunohistochemical staining (IHC) of DLL3 was conducted on each case.
