Expression and clinical significance of IGFBP-3 in pituitary neuroendocrine tumours
#4491
Introduction: IGFBP-3 is a regulatory factor highly expressed in pituitary neuroendocrine tumours that may provide reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of pituitary neuroendocrine tumours.
Aim(s): To investigate the expression and clinical significance of IGFBP-3 as a biomarker in pituitary neuroendocrine tumours.
Materials and methods: 156 cases of pituitary neuroendocrine tumours admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2019 to June 2023 were selected as the experimental group. 22 healthy subjects during the same period were selected as the control group. To determinate the IGFBP-3 level by magnetic particle chemical luminescence immunoassay. The tumour diameter was obtained by combining the diameter measured on MRI with the diameter of postoperative tumour pathological specimen. Compare the differences in IGFBP-3 levels between each subgroup and the control group.
