Gender differences in lung neuroendocrine tumors: A single center experience

Introduction: Lung neuroendocrine tumors (L-NET) are the second most common NET. No consistent data are available about gender difference due to their low prevalence.
Aim(s): To evaluate gender differences in L-NET.
Materials and methods: 48 patients with histologically confirmed L-NET diagnosis referred to the ENETS CoE of the Endocrinology Unit, Federico II University of Naples, from 2013 to 2023 were retrospectively evaluated. Patients’ characteristics and tumor histological features were retrieved.
