Liver debulking surgery affect the treatment efficacy of SSAs

Introduction: Since the results of the previous study, liver metastasis tumor burden affect the treatment effect of somatostatin analogues (SSAs).

Aim(s): We aim to assess the impact of liver debulking surgery on the efficacy of SSAs in well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor (NET).

Materials and methods: We retrospectively collected clinical data of patients with advanced NET who underwent liver debulking surgery in our center from 2021 to 2023.
