Long-term health-related quality of life after enucleation of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms – A single-institution experience
#3706
Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNENs), have often a good prognosis in terms of survival.
Aim(s): We evaluated health-related quality of life (HRQoL) after enucleation in these patients with limited pancreatic disease in a long-term follow-up.
Materials and methods: Clinical data of 30 patients who underwent a enucleation for a pNEN from May 1999 in our Center were retrieved. The following EORTC QoL questionnaires were used: C30, GINET21 and PAN26. From September 2021 they were filled by the patients and revision of medical records was made. Results were analysed as suggested by the EORTC Group. Three major domains were selected as outcome: Physical function (PF2), social function (SF), and disease related worries (DRW). These domains were evaluated in relation to five clinical variables: Gender, age, comorbidities, pNEN type and grade.
