Management of grade I metastatic pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours: A case report and literature review
#4450
Introduction: Grade I neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) represent a distinct clinico-histological entity that requires a tailored management approach. The treatment of these tumours has evolved, but challenges remain, especially in regions with limited access to nuclear medicine imaging.
Aim(s): We present the case of a patient with a pancreatic NET and liver metastases, highlighting the difficulties in managing this rare disease, particularly in the absence of certain diagnostic technologies.
Materials and methods: We report the case of a 60-year-old female patient. Her diagnosis was incidental, discovered in May 2022, after she sustained a right rib fracture.
