Management strategies and outcomes for type 1 gastric neuroendocrine tumours measuring > 1cm in diameter

#4611

Introduction: Although type 1 gastric neuroendocrine tumours (T1-gNETs) are usually considered indolent diseases, the management and the outcome of tumours >1cm remain not well established.

Aim(s): This study aims to investigate the management and outcome of patients with T1-gNETs >1cm.

Materials and methods: This multicentre retrospective study included patients with T1-gNETs >1cm, with at least 12 months of follow-up. The primary endpoint was disease progression (DP) (tumour recurrence or metastasis development), and Cox regression method was used to identify factors associated with progression.
