Mapping of lymph node metastasis in non-functional pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors: A retrospective analysis of 455 patients
#4008
Introduction: Radical surgery is the best and effective option for resectable pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (pNET) patients. However, lymphadenectomy in pNET surgery remains controversial, especially for small tumors.
Aim(s): This study aimed at mapping the optimal extent of lymph node dissection based on tumor location of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors according to the incidence of metastasis.
Materials and methods: Patients who underwent curative-intent resection for pNETs between 2013 and 2023 at Shanghai Cancer Center Fudan University were retrieved. Finally, 455 patients with pNET and lymph node dissection were enrolled after screening.
