Mediastinal neuroendocrine tumor with heart metastasis response to immunotherapy

Introduction: Mediastinal tumor is unusual, representing 0.2 to 1.5% of tumors in human, mediastinal neuroendocrine tumor even rare.

Aim(s): We reported a case with mediastinal neuroendocrine tumor developing heart metastasis who had a long survival and response to immunotherapy.

Materials and methods: A 30-year-old young patient complained shoulder hurt in our hospital, PET/CT scan revealed that mediastiunum, lumbar spine intraosseous and left supraclavicular lymph node hypermetabolism. A rough needle biopsy in the left supraclavicular lymph node performed and reported small cell tumor without further IHC.
