Neuroendocrine neoplasms in the young: The experience of a single-centre study

Introduction: The incidence of neuroendocrine tumours (NET) is steadily increasing (6.98 per 100000 inhabitants). In Italy, cancer is the second cause of mortality in young patients.
Aim(s): Retrospective epidemiological study of a single-centre case series of young patients with NET.
Materials and methods: Patient data from the ENETS Centre of Excellence for the diagnosis and treatment of NET at the Federico II University of Naples were evaluated from May 2000 to October 2023.
