Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors (NET) are mainly located in the digestive tract (85%) and the lung (10%). The other localizations are rare, notably at the urological tract with an uncertain prognosis. At diagnostic, these tumors are often in the metastatic stage. Their treatment is based on chemotherapy (platinum drug).
Aim(s): The objective of our study is to retrospectively evaluate cases of urological neuroendocrine tumors in the Medical Oncology department of the University Hospital of Oran (EHUO) for 8 years.
Materials and methods: Retrospective study in the Medical Oncology department of the University Hospital of Oran (EHUO) from January 2014 to September 2022 to evaluate cases of urological neuroendocrine tumors, whose diagnosis was based on histological and immunohistological analysis of biopsies (Chromogranin A and Synaptophysin confirms this diagnosis).
