NGS data collection in high-grade (HG) pancreatic NENs at University Hospital of Verona

#3860

Introduction: Molecular data for G3 pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNEN) are limited. G3 category includes well-differentiated NET G3 and NEC. The biology and clinical behaviour of NET G3 are different from NEC.

Aim(s): Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) aims to make biological insights into this complex category of NEN by identifying possible predictive and prognostic factors to use in clinical practice.

Materials and methods: We analysed DNA in 24 HG pNEN tumor samples (18 pNET G3, 6 NEC). NGS was performed by FoundationONE® CDx (n=6) or in-house assay (n=18). Reported alterations correspond to class 4 and 5 (ACMG/AMP guidelines). Clinical data for all patients were retrospectively collected.
