Nomograms to predict the prognosis of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms

#3666

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma (pNEC) and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (pNET) are two types of tumors with distinct biological behaviour and prognosis. Few studies demonstrated the prognostic risk factors and survival model of pNEC and pNEC separately.

Aim(s): This study aimed to investigate the clinical features and prognostic risk factors of prognosis of pNEC and pNET and two nomograms were established to predict the prognosis of these two tumors.

Materials and methods: Nomograms were established based on patients diagnosed with pNENs in the SEER database between 2004 and 2018. External validation was performed in 303 patients with pNENs to verify the discrimination and calibration of the nomograms.
