Outcomes of lobar and sub-lobar resection for lung neuroendocrine tumours (LNETs, carcinoids) – An ENETS CoE experience

#4351

Introduction: LNETs are rare tumours accounting for 1–2% of all lung cancers.

Aim(s): To assess overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS) following lobar resection (LR) or sub-lobar resection (SLR) of LNETs, identifying factors linked to poor prognosis and resection extent.

Materials and methods: A retrospective analysis of patients who underwent resection for typical (TC) or atypical carcinoid (AC) at Hadassah Medical Centre between 2010 and 2024.
