Predictive Markers of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (GEP-NETS)

#2188

Introduction: NET are relatively rare and up to still far from fully studied pathology. The frequency of NET GEP does not exceed 2% of all tumors of this localization.

Aim(s): Identify prognostic and predictive markers for different localization and morphological form of GEP-NET

Materials and methods: We examined 14 patients:38 (65.5%) women and 20 (34.5%) men. The age 25 to 78 years (mean age 58 years). All patients ultrasound of the abdominal cavity and small pelvis, fibroesophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, CT/MRI . Clinical symptomatology, laboratory evaluation of hormonal tumor activity, localization, size, regional lymph node condition, and the presence of distant metastases were evaluated.
