Prognostic factors in lung neuroendocrine neoplasms: The role of bone metastases
#3399
Introduction: Lung neuroendocrine neoplasms (L-NEN) are heterogeneous tumors with variable biological behaviour. Bone metastases (BM) may have a prognostic impact and treatment is debated.
Aim(s): To analyse presentation, clinical course and outcomes of patients with L-NEN and BM, assessing potential prognostic factor of BM.
Materials and methods: Patients diagnosed with L-NEN between Mar 1998 and Mar 2021 from the ENETS center “Federico II” University of Naples were retrospectively evaluated. Clinicopathological data, progression-free survival (PFS), and overall survival (OS) were evaluated.
