Prognostic role of inflammation index in neuroendocrine neoplasms
#3279
Introduction: Increasing evidence has revealed that systemic inflammatory responses are indicators of response to therapy in different types of malignancies. We studied the role of baseline neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (N/LR) inflammation index in 69 NEN patients.
Aim(s): The aim of this study was to evaluate if N/L R was associated with clinical features, response to treatment or patient outcomes.
Materials and methods: We retrospectively reviewed 69 NEN patients with different origins, treated at the Nettare Unit, Policlinico Umberto I, Rome and at 12 de Octubre Hospital, Madrid. N/L R at baseline were assessed. Radiological response was detected by TC total body.
