Introduction: The optimal management of regional lymph nodes during resections of Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (pNETs) remains controversial. Conflicting data exist on predictors of LN metastases (LNM) and their impact on survival

Aim(s): to determine factors associated with LNM and the prognostic value of N1 status. The main effort is to understand the oncological appropriateness of the different surgical procedures stratified for pathologic N status of pNETs

Materials and methods: A retrospective review of a prospectively maintained database of patients who underwent surgery for locoregional NF-pNETs between 2000 and 2016 in Verona Pancreas Institute was performed.
