PRRT for control of hypoglycaemia and disease progression due to metastatic insulinoma

#3698

Introduction: Management of metastatic insulinoma (MI) presents dual management challenges of hypoglycaemia (hypo) and progressive oncologic disease. Case reports describe remarkable responses to PRRT but limited follow-up (FU).

Aim(s): Analyse the clinical efficacy and safety of PRRT for treatment of MI with long-term FU.

Materials and methods: Retrospective review of consecutive patients (pts) with MI treated with [177Lu]Lu-DOTATATE (LuTATE) at two Australian NET centres between 2004-2022 according to institutional protocol and FU for hypo, scintigraphic, radiologic and biochemical response.
