Radiological embolization of liver metastases in patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms
#3697
Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNEN) may present with liver metastases at diagnosis, often bilobar (LM). Radiological embolization (RE) of LM is one of the treatment options.
Aim(s): We evaluate overall survival (OS) in patients with pNENs and LM treated with RE.
Materials and methods: From 1981 to 2020 we diagnosed 367 patients with a pNEN. Among 64 patients with LM, 24 received RE. We evaluated clinical presentation, histology, and treatment. FU to December 2021.
