Regulation of Neuroendocrine Differentiation by Growth Factor Induced Proliferation in a Well-differentiated Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor Cell Line

#1573

Introduction: The regulation of neuroendocrine differentiation in NET tumor cells is poorly understood. Clinical experience suggests a correlation between proliferation and neuroendocrine de-differentiation.

Aim(s): To study neuroendocrine differentiation in slow and fast growing neuroendocrine tumor cells.

Materials and methods: We analyzed mRNA expression of NET markers and transcription factors (TFs) in BON, QGP and NT-3 cells, a recently established NET cell line.
