Risk analysis of distant metastases and age-at onset of patients with rectal neuroendocrine neoplasm

#3094

Introduction: Distant metastasis is an independent prognostic factor in patients with rectal neuroendocrine tumors. The risk factors of distant metastases are still unclear. There are few studies on the direct relationship between the age of onset and the clinicopathological characteristics of RNEN patients.

Aim(s): To explore the risk factors of distant metastases in patients with rectal neuroendocrine tumors and evaluate the relationship between the clinical pathological characteristics and the age-onset.

Materials and methods: A retrospective case-control study was used. Clinical and pathological data of 62 patients with GEP-NENs were collected from the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University, China from July 2011 to July 2019.
